DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Systems Technician

Are you an accurate and quality orientated technician seeking a role within an organisation where the work you do will really make a difference?

We are looking for a self-motivated Systems Technician educated to HNC level or equivalent in electrical and electronic engineering, to work as part of our Technical Operations Team to cover the Liverpool area of the UK.

We require somebody who is used to a fast paced environment, customer focused and able to build good working relationships with both internal colleagues and our customers. Ideally we would like you to come from a background of working in a medical devices environment or in servicing medical equipment and have a natural emphasis on continual improvement.

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours. This role requires regular travel across Liverpool and occasional cover across the UK and therefore a UK driving licence is essential.

What does the role involve?

You will:
* Ensure that all reactive customer support, installation and evaluation requirements are completed in line with FME policies and procedures.
* Maximise up time of machines by performing high quality standard and reactive service work within contracted timescales.
* Ensure that all FME ‘Lean Service’ initiatives, processes and tools are observed and applied as directed.
* Complete any TAM’s documentation and ensure that all service reports are accurate and timely.
* Assist in the implementation of technical upgrades of equipment and modifications.
* Oversee and participate in the acceptance and commissioning of new business awards.

Facilities Management Coordinator

Here at Fresenius Medical Care we have an exciting opportunity within our Technical Operations Team as a Facilities Management Co-ordinator.

We are looking for somebody from a helpdesk background who is customer focused and confident with dealing with customers over the phone. You will a natural problem solver with a logical approach, excellent IT skills and has a sound knowledge of all Microsoft packages. You must have a good understanding of facilities management.

What does the role involve?

You will:
* Answer incoming calls from trusts, FMC clinics, home patients, suppliers and technicians
* Manage the department email inbox
* Log calls and complete follow up on all received queries
* Create purchase orders and manage invoices
* Management supplier relationships and invoices

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. This is a remote position with occasional visits to the office required.
