We are looking for a practical person who has good mechanical sympathy to operate and maintain horticultural machinery such as our potting machine, drive the telehandler for loading soil and other maintenance. This is not a full time job therefore the role will also be to set down plants, pot plants and other general nursery work, much of which is physically demanding.

We are looking to take someone on from now until end of July but there is the possibility for this role to be permanent for the right candidate who has good practical and maintenance.

We are highly seasonal and we are busy until the end of July so the flexibility to stay extra hours in these busy periods would be advantageous. In winter we are very quiet so the candidate would either be happy to not work for part of that time or be happy to do some of the clearing and weeding ready for the next season.

We are based in Enfield, so if you travel by public transport, there's a bus stop at the end of the road and on-site parking.

You must have a good command of the English language to be able to understand instructions clearly.
