As an Audiovisual Production Specialist, you will:
- Plan and determine the feasibility of productions, organize, and execute the production of television and audio programming (e.g., broadcast news, educational and/or informational training videos).
- Lead and/or work as a member of a multi-disciplinary development team (i.e., content specialist, instructional designers, audiovisual and television production specialist, artist).
- Propose the visual "treatment" of the subject, i.e., the nature of visual sequences in relation to the recorded narrative that will accompany them from scripts developed with and/or provided by the clients.
- Direct final editing of recorded scenes of productions shot in sequence and/or out-of-sequence to ensure continuity, effectiveness of action and dialogue or narrative.
- Use mass communication theories, industry standards and practice, and specific programmatic objectives to develop concepts and/or provide consultation regarding scripts for a variety of complex broadcast (video and audio) requirements (e.g. long format training and/or educational and informational live and pre-recorded programs, and audio files, public service announcements).
