Production Planner/ Administrator / Coordinator
£24,500 per annum- office based full time hours but flexible between 7am - 6pm.
Summary of the role:
* This role will report to the MPS Planning Team leader. The main responsibility of this role is to assist with the processing of orders through the business.
* You will collaborate with the Senior MPS planner to provide regular updates concerning any foreseen order delays to our external TSS colleagues, assist in assessing capacity constraints posed by incoming demand, aid production in evaluating order patterns and highlighting possible areas of concern, help production in its efforts to remove bottlenecks, arrears and provide manufacturing documentation.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Entering Sales Orders onto the Fourth Shift System (our internal planning system).
* Running the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to produce daily manufacturing orders.
* Collating of Manufacturing Orders e.g. responsible for assembling the document packs released to the production cells. Including printing drawings, inspection plans, data sheets, etc.
* Answering Admin emails.
* Highlighting Issues found in the document pack before release.
* Releasing Rapid / Expedited production orders.
* Manual releasing and Adjusting order volumes outside of the automated ERP process and liaising these changes with CSC and SCM. Various reasons force production to release orders with specific text, deadlines, and destinations outside the ERP system's parameters.
* Assist in highlighting Purchasing supply issues affecting production.
* Order chases sending early warnings to SCM and CSC advising of order delays.
* General Data entry and admin.
Education and experience
* GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
* IT and Data inputting experience
* Administration experience

* Knowledge of 4th shift and or SAP

* Accurate data inputting skills
