Job Description
· Familiarity with multi-tier server architecture (Application, Web, Database).
· Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or MariaDB.
· Proficiency in web services, including protocols like SOAP & REST.
· Experience in Unix and Linux, shell scripting,batch scheduling and monitoring tools.
· Knowledge of system applications such as backup software, Application Server - Jboss, Web Server - Apache, Messaging system - MQ / AMQ
· Have experience in troubleshooting, system administration, and supporting firewalls and network devices.
· Experience in CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins using OpenShift cloud platform.
· Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and usage of image repositories.
· Have knowledge on programming languages like Java, HTML5, Bootstrap
· Exposure to Agile practices like - Jira, backlog management, identify key dependencies and help manage team dependencies.
· Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
· Understand the process of change management, regulatory changes and reporting cycles;
· Good in understanding internal processes and resolving issues.
· Able to troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues and routes to appropriate escalation groups;
· Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
· 4 to 5 years experiences, there are no shift works but may require to work weekends at times for CR support.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation.
· Work closely with key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users and communicate application problems and issues.
· Provide root cause analysis techniques to determine cause and resolve complex system issues or escalate to application managers and the management team.
· Support regular release activities and ensure smooth deployments from test environment to production environment.
· Proactive management of production services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, throughput, user journeys and overall system health.
· Provide technical expertise on analysing and providing best solution on complex technical issues in timely and efficiently.
