Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
We have a great opportunity for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our Integrated Airspace-protection Systems (IAS) team in Belfast.
Key responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in:
- Working as a member of a multi-functional team during the industrialisation phase to ensure robust Electrical Manufacturing Processes
- Supporting APQP activities as part of the industrialisation phase
- Supporting the industrialisation of NPI programmes supporting & carrying out manufacturing readiness.
- Production support to ensure production issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Shaping departmental and functional processes.
- Liaising with other engineering departments to ensure design intent is implemented fully and a high quality product delivered.
- Providing cost information to enable make/buy decisions to be made
- Supporting & leading Root Cause Investigations
About you
Ideally, you’ll:
- Have an HNC (essential) and/or a degree (preferred) in an engineering discipline
- Possess prior experience working within manufacturing
- Have demonstrable work experience in Mechanical / Electrical assembly processes
- Have a working knowledge of product life cycle phases i.e. feasibility, development/design, manufacture, customer support, APQP
- Possess excellent numerical skills with a good mathematical background
