Our client, a large production company based in Duncrue have an immediate need for 10 Production Operatives to join their team.

As a Production Operative, you'll work rotating day and night shifts, operating machinery, monitoring product quality, and maintaining safety. PPE is required for all shifts, and tasks include mixing, packaging, and labelling products.

Hourly Pay £14.68ph

General Operator - Packing Department

Shift Pattern:

• Week 1: Mon-Fri, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
• Week 2: Mon-Thu, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Role Overview:
Join our Packing Department to ensure efficient packing operations. You'll handle packing machinery, perform quality checks, and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Requirements:

• Electric Pallet Truck License (refresher within last 3 years)
• Attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Physical ability for lifting and handling

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY'S

• Machine composite & metallic component parts using multi-axis CNC machinery
• Assist engineering with part proveouts and machine alignments
• Ensure finished work conforms to engineering requirements
• Plan the most cost effective method to produce components to drawing requirements
• Perform weekly TPM checks
• Set up cutting tools as per CNC program requirements
• Set up parts as per EPR requirements on programmable actuators and solid fixtures

The successful candidate

• Have served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship and have at least 1 year's relevant post apprenticeship machining experience within the last 5 years
• Have an understanding of CNC programming
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and other related technical documentation
• Be prepared to work a range of shifts plus overtime as requires at any of our Client's Northern Ireland sites
• An understanding 5-axis machine kinematics would be advantageous
• A knowledge of Siemens 840D / Fanuc controllers would be advantageous
