RESPONSIBILITIES

• Live studio direct News & Current Affairs programmes in both automated and traditional galleries. Content is not limited to broadcast content. May be required to support digital from time to time.
• This position is responsible for the execution of live studio programming using a Vizrt Mosart Automation system. The responsibilities include but are not limited to using studio equipment to build effects and templates for coding and execution of studio shows via Octopus rundowns.
• Co-ordinate the planning and production of News and Current Affairs programmes output to ensure that editorial intentions are met, and highest production standards maintained. The individual will be equipped with the right skills and new/developing tools to deliver high quality production.
• Set the direction and work with studio crew on duties on the requirements to facilitate and execute an error-free studio production.
• Work primarily in the studio but occasionally will be needed in the field for outdoor news broadcast.
• In the fast paced nature of news, the individual is required to provide guidance to the studio and production crew on the last minute changes and issues that may happen on during production.
• Enforce the compliance to the Error Tracking System from both the production and maintenance team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Diploma in relevant discipline
• At least 2 years in production, preferably studio/live production but other production acceptable as well.
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and able to react to changes and situations in a calm and collected manner, without supervison.
• Multitasking is required in the role as well as strong people interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in planning, organising and communicating to be able to manage multiple issues that may occur during production as well as the stakeholders from various teams. Required to have an eye for detail and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Experience with studio production with a strong understanding of studio equipment, including switchers and audio board will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in the English language and at least one other language (Chinese Tamil or Malay) would be an added advantage to understand the language of the programmes.
• A good team player and must be willing to work nights, on irregular shift including weekends and public holidays.

Job Summary:

This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in business development, client relationship management and the management of post-production teams. The Director of Sales and Ops is responsible for driving the growth of the company's post production services, identifying market opportunities and building long-term partnerships with new and existing clients. The Director of Sales and Ops is also responsible for the smooth operation of the post facility, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest creative and technical standards for a wide range of major international streamers, broadcasters and producers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Client Acquisition:

a. Develop and implement sales strategy to drive new business for the company's post-production services.

b. Identify and pursue potential clients in the TV, film, advertising and corporate sectors.

c. Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, achieving sales targets and revenue growth goals.

d. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

2. Business Development & Networking:

a. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, build relationships, and generate leads for potential clients.

b. Negotiate client contracts, pricing structures, and service level agreements.

c. Oversee the creation of promotional materials, case studies, and content showcasing the company’s post-production capabilities.

d. Manage the company's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and industry forums, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.

3. Client and Stakeholder Relations:

a. Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients.

b. Work closely with production and post-production teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.

c. Regularly communicate with clients to gather feedback and ensure long-term satisfaction, identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals.

4. Leadership and Management:

a. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of post-production professionals, ensuring efficient workflows and collaboration across departments.

b. Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and daily operations.

c. Recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

5. Project Oversight:

a. Manage multiple post-production projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.

b. Collaborate with directors, producers, and other key stakeholders.

c. Identify and mitigate risks in post-production timelines, adjusting strategies as necessary to guarantee on-time delivery.

6. Operational Efficiency:

a. Create and manage post-production budgets, track expenses and process payments.

b. Negotiate contracts with external vendors.

c. Maintain the smooth running of the facility.

7. Technology and Innovation:

a. Stay up-to-date with the latest post-production tools, software, and technologies, implementing new solutions as needed to improve workflows and capabilities.

b. Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of post-production infrastructure, including suites, software licenses, and storage solutions.

c. Ensure proper data management and security protocols are followed, safeguarding project assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in post-production, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects across a range of content formats (TV, film, digital, etc.).
• Working knowledge of post-production systems and pipelines, including editing, colour grading, audio mixing, MGFX/CGI/VFX, mastering, QC and deliverables.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-cultural teams and foster a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to build client relationships and close deals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously, with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of post-production budgeting, resource management, and scheduling.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with international teams.Strong network within the media and entertainment industries.
• Familiarity with emerging trends in virtual production, AI-driven post production tools, and cloud-based post-production workflows.
• Experience with content delivery for streaming platforms and knowledge of platform-specific technical requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role, you will work with the regional manufacturing leadership team to develop a strategic roadmap for manufacturing within the region. The focus will be on improving efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness. You will also be responsible for guiding and influencing partners to adopt lean thinking and for building or enhancing foundational capabilities in quality management systems, industrial engineering, and value engineering to ensure the on-time delivery of the right product. Additionally, you will support Nike’s manufacturing country sourcing strategies to improve product and manufacturing capabilities, ensuring smooth production line launches with high quality, low manufacturing costs, and shorter lead times.

You will also be responsible for introducing and developing new manufacturing technologies and processes to promote product excellence, boost productivity, optimize costs, and reduce lead times. They also collaborate with Nike product creation teams to refine construction standards, facilitate end-to-end digital connectivity, drive manufacturing modernization, and establish KPIs and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing engineering initiatives and digitalization efforts.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will lead a team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and Manufacturing System Engineers to develop and implement foundational capabilities (Lean, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Garment Engineering) and Advanced capabilities (Automation & Digitization) across Nike’s APAC supplier base. This role will report to a Senior Director, Innovation & Manufacturing Engineering based in Singapore.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Must have 8-10 years of pertinent experience in Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, encompassing Shopfloor Automation, Robotics, Tooling Engineering, Design for Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, Garment Engineering, and related areas.
• Proficiency in General Sewing Data and background in factory capacity planning & management.
• Proven track record of driving large-scale transformations, including Digital Transformation and factory automation initiatives.
• Experience leading organization-wide initiatives with multi-stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity and experience deploying Continuous Improvement Methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is highly desirable.
• Ability to envision the future, develop strategies and roadmaps to realize that vision, establish partnerships, and implement solutions.
• Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to develop individuals and teams.

Our Technical, Production and Costume Department plays a leading role in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering excellence for every performance, rehearsal and event. We are now seeking to appoint an Assistant Director for Costume and Wigs to join our growing and dynamic senior management team, working closely with the Director of Technical, Production and Costume, Deputy Director (Production and Planning) and the two other Assistant Directors (Operations and Technical) to collectively lead, motivate and develop over 350 permanent staff, along with a pool of skilled casuals and freelancers.

This is a strategic role, working across a large department and having overall responsibility for the management and delivery of all costume (including wigs & make-up) functions in all ROH locations, including co-productions and hires. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record at a senior management level with a major producing venue or organisation. A demonstrable understanding of the costume production process is key - alongside a strong working knowledge of the operations of a large costume department.
