What are we looking for:
Food Manufacturing Supervisor for a Small Busy Factory overseeing the production operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP principles.
Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers on the shop floor.
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
Train new employees on manufacturing processes and safety protocols
Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with the management team to develop production schedules and resource allocation plans.
Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.
Conduct traceability checks, ensuring full compliance for the manufacturing process.
Liaise with H&S Manager and communicate all health and safety concerns to employees and management.
Skills:
Demonstrable mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
Proficiency in basic maths for inventory management and production tracking
Familiarity with food safety practices and HACCP regulations in a manufacturing setting
Experience in food production or related industry is advantageous
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving common goals
