Role Description
The Production Stream Team Leaders purpose is to lead the team in achieving their required metrics for the area, with a key focus on team member safety, product quality and process optimisation. Providing daily support and coaching all team members.
Responsibilities will include:
Build a culture of safety within area of responsibility
Ensure that all activities have formal risk assessments
Embrace “Go For Zero” by promoting positive behaviours
Build strong relationships with each member
Minimise absenteeism
Train team on OPEX tools systems and standards
Collect and analyse data to underpin decisions and the allocation of resource within the production stream
Improve key metrics for the production stream and drive problem solving activity
Use visual management to communicate the team performance issues
Ensure that start ups and change-overs are documented, planned and executed
Optimise labour and minimise waste and maximise OEE for the team
Skills Requirement
In this role you will be responsible for managing a team, so previous management experience would be ideal
Experience/understanding of food manufacturing
Proficient in written, numerical and verbal skills
Problem solving and trouble shooting
Ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data
Foundation level Health & Safety, Food Safety & HACCP qualification
