ABOUT YARA PILBARA
Situated on the scenic Burrup Peninsula, Yara Pilbara hosts one of the world's largest ammonia production facilities, supplying fertilizer to support global agricultural needs. Adjacent to the fertilizer plant is the Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) Plant, producing essential products for the Australian mining sector.
Yara Pilbara is also spearheading initiatives in Western Australia to establish a groundbreaking renewable hydrogen hub in the Pilbara region.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This traineeship is a two-year program, where you will work towards achieving the nationally recognised Certificate III in Process Plant Operations.
Over the course of the traineeship you will gain technical knowledge, develop skills to operate production facilities and build up a mechanical aptitude. Training will be provided both on-the-job and at South Metropolitan TAFE's ACEPT Campus.
To be successful, you will have:
Completion of Secondary Schooling to a Year 12 level (or equivalent), or relevant pre-vocational qualifications.
A current C class driver's licence.
Adaptability to work 12-hour shifts (including nightshifts) under physically demanding conditions.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to function effectively within a team.
Technical acumen and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in computer skills.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessments and regular drug & alcohol screening tests.
Capacity to obtain a Dangerous Goods Security Card & Maritime Security Identification Card.
