• Operate one or more conventional or computer numerical control (CNC) machines to perform a specific machining operation in the machining of castings, forgings, or other raw stocks made of various metals, metal alloys, and other materials.
• On a conventional machine, control the machine feeds and speeds, change, and use different cutting tools for successive operations, and make minor changes in machine settings to maintain sizes or shape of the work piece.
• On a CNC machine, operate in the automatic mode utilizing the feeds and speeds programmed.
• Make minor adjustments and compensations for tool and work piece size differences, as well as tool changes.
• Ensure that dimensions meet those prescribed by blueprints, sketches, or other instructions using standard measuring instruments.

Operates field-type tractors with attachments to maintain the grasses at the golf course. Operates a variety of equipment to include but not limited to the following: mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, clippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, moveable dozer, blades, backhoe, and other equipment ranging from small hand held applicators to tractor drawn liquid and solid dispensers. Makes all adjustments to equipment to ensure proper settings, connections, and mechanical soundness of equipment. Observes all safety rules and regulations pertaining to vehicle operation. Performs operator maintenance on field-type tractors and related equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Major Duties:
On a recurring basis, operates farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment to maintain grounds and road medians and/or perform farming functions. The incumbent frequently operates towed or attached equipment from the seat of the tractor through hydraulic or mechanical controls.

Equipment operated may include mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, chippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, front-end loading devices, movable dozer blades, and backhoes. This equipment may be powered by direct drive or a power takeoff. Work may involve taking multiple mechanical and hydraulic connections between the towed or attached equipment and the tractor and make numerous equipment adjustments. Incumbent works on level or rolling terrain in such areas as open fields, parks, orchards, lawns, and along roadways.

As required, uses the fertilizer spreader to apply fertilizers as needed during the year. utilizes the aerator as needed on established turf. Uses auger, when needed to bore holes as required. Pulls plowing disc, to break dirt crust as needed. May level ground to give an even grade within boundaries as required.

• Perform munitions inspections in accordance with the Ammunition Surveillance Procedures Manual.
• Assist with the coordination of in and out shipments, receipts, warehousing, and all movements within the Ammunition Supply Point.
• Issue ammunition to military units.
• Assist with cyclic, quarterly and special inventories of ammunition.
• Operate forklift truck to load/unload, transfer, transport, stack/unstack palletized goods, boxes, crates, merchandise, materials, and supplies from one location to another.

• Transports patients, personnel and/or supplies to and from designated locations.
• Follows all safety rules, regulations and traffic signs, and drives carefully and avoids rough terrain and hazardous roads.
• Performs preventative maintenance services as required.
• Required to complete daily logs on vehicle operation and patient transportation.
• Perform a full range of housekeeping duties.
