HRGO have a great new opportunity for a trainee fabricator / production operative to join a well established manufacturing company within the Aylesford area.

We are seeking a candidate who has some previous manufacturing experience, being familiar with stock levels and continuous improvements.

Being part of the fabrication team, you will be trained in the following:-

• To fabricate standard products
• To ensure that quality standards are met at all times
• To ensure that output standards are met or exceeded
• You will ensure stock accuracy of booked products
• You will assemble and pack the product as necessary

Working in a team environment you will ensure a safe working environment is undertaken at all times, together with striving towards continuous improvements where possible. Moving stock from one area to another is also required.

This will start as an initial temporary position, but will go permanent after the successful probation period.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 6am - 12pm.

This will be a night role working 6pm - 6am on a 4 on / 4 off shift rotation.

Please note the company will be providing training however this will be on the day shift for the first month working 12pm - 12am. Once completed you will then move over to the night shift.

This is a potential temp to perm opportunity so the company are looking for individuals who are looking to grow and develop with a company.

Ideally you will have previous experience within a production or manufacturing role.

Job Duties will include :-

  Production records to be completed on time and in full

  
  


• 
  

  Packing of premixes including labelling, weighing and sealing

  
  


• 
  

  Cleaning of all equipment and areas used

  
  


• 
  

  Set up and preparation of equipment where necessary

  
  


• 
  

  Adhere to all company policies and procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Report any deviations or queries to Supervisor

  
  


• 
  

  Responsible for the correct use of PPE

  
  


• 
  

  Completion of the work set out by the Supervisor in an efficient manner

  
  


• 
  

  General housekeeping of the Production area to ensure a clean environment

  
  


• 
  

  Produce batch samples to be provided for analysis

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain quality standards and practices to ensure a high-quality finished product and attention to detail necessary

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all relevant company Health and Safety procedures as directed by the Supervisor

  
  


• 
  

  Regular manual handling of bags and boxes

  
  

Please note due to the shift pattern and working hours OWN TRANPSORT IS NEEDED, however if you live local in Aylesford / Maidstone you may be able to reach but this will need to be checked.
