We are building a powerhouse Marketing and Communications Team, based in Richmond, to accelerate our growth and further build the brand. Together with a group of like-minded creative individuals, our Marketing Team will generate brand awareness and grow our client base through national multi-million-dollar marketing campaigns across TV, streaming, digital channels, social direct mail, email, mobile, print and events.

VP, Product Marketing
The VP, Product Marketing, you will lead a team of talented marketers who are spearheading the go-to-market strategy for Homes.com. You will work closely with cross functional teams to drive growth of the Homes.com product including introducing new product enhancements and features into the market and developing leads for sales. You will help manage and execute best-in-class work as a talented member of a dynamic marketing team for one of the fastest growing brands in the industry – reinventing how people search and advertise for homes.
We’re looking for a collaborative, customer-centric, performance-driven individual with a never settle mentality ready to be at the forefront of our next stage of growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create holistic product marketing and product launch roadmaps including well defined requirements, product positioning, value propositions, product launch and messaging.
- Define market opportunity for products, including segmentation and competitive analysis.
- Write, socialize and drive consensus on marketing, sales enablement, and launch plans
- Work seamlessly with cross-department teams including, but not limited to, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance and Sales
- Provide market insights to drive development of campaign strategies including demand creation and reputation building.
- Lead creation of training frameworks, materials, templates and standards that scale – this includes drafting, editing, maintaining and publishing documents, videos and interactive course for internal and external audiences.
- Create product retention and upsell/cross-sell product positioning to accelerate product adoption and mitigate cancel/down-sell risk.
- Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate results of related sales and marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in a variety of marketing related roles including Product, Brand, Sales enablement.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on a marketplace or advertising product.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team of Product Marketers
- Proven lead with strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to influence and collaborate cross functionally
- Deep understanding of Sales and Marketing processes, customer behavior and market trends
- Strong proficiency in using data to drive decision making.
