Job Description

1. Assures Product quality, production processes, documents maintenance, production environment complied to our strict HQ standards and local government requirements.
2. Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure conformity with HQ specifications, government and industry standards.
3. Oversees the workplace health and safety issues of the company.
4. Negotiate with suppliers on raw materials as well as packaging materials procurement.
5. Responsible for company’s Production performance as well as Product Quality.
6. Investigate customers’ complaints on quality issues with the local Production and QC team.
7. Investment considerations and budgeting for improving working environment, quality and production efficiency.
8. Management of repair correspondence for manufacturing machineries and plant facilities.

Requirements

1. At least 5-8 years experience in production management in a food manufacturing industry preferably in a Management role
2. Degree holder or higher
3. Good knowledge of biscuits manufacturing processes and chocolates making processes.
4. Good knowledge of FSSC & ISO standards
5. Knowledge of safety requirements and legal standards.
6. Able to speak, read and write Japanese as the role requires frequent communicating and reporting to Japan HQ
