Senior Product Recruiter – Richmond, VA

We are looking for a senior recruiter to join CoStar Group as a senior Product Recruiter in the Richmond, VA office. They will be responsible for attracting top product management and design talent across CoStar Group brands including LoopNet, Homes.com, CoStar and Apartments.com, while operating with flawless candidate and client execution.  This role is critical to the evolution of our current product offerings and new products we will design for the future.  Additionally, you will be responsible for developing relationships with local and national talent for future talent pipelines.  Senior recruiters will operate as a key contact for hiring managers and will partner with HR Business Partners and the Learning and Development team to ensure effective on-boarding to maximize new hires success.  You will consult with hiring managers on all aspects of the talent acquisition process to include recruitment strategy, candidate selection, compensation recommendations, and offer presentation.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate as a full-life cycle recruiter responsible for defining job requirements in partnership with the hiring manager, cultivate and source relevant candidates, close and negotiate offers, and manage end to end recruiting process.
• Build proactive product talent pipelines to continuously provide top talent to the business.
• Leverage personal network to generate candidate leads and referrals for proactive candidate outreach and pipeline building.
• Collaborate with teammates to fulfill open positions across brands and share talent pipelines as well as develop creative ways of sourcing and attracting top product talent.
• Provide regular communication to business partners on status of searches, candidates in process and competitive market conditions that may impact a search.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree from a not-for-profit University or College required
• A track record of commitment to prior employers
• At least 4+ years of experience in either a corporate recruiting environment hiring product management and design professionals.
• 4+ years of success leading full life cycle recruitment including sourcing candidates through cold calling and digital sourcing efforts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS  

• Client focused orientation
• You are a pro with applicant tracking systems (we use Workday) as well as LinkedIn Recruiter, and other social recruiting platforms.
• Experience utilizing job boards, target company cold-calling, and other sourcing mechanisms to identify candidates.
• Strong knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.

VP, Product Marketing

The VP, Product Marketing, you will lead a team of talented marketers who are spearheading the go-to-market strategy for Homes.com.  You will work closely with cross functional teams to drive growth of the Homes.com product including introducing new product enhancements and features into the market and developing leads for sales.  You will help manage and execute best-in-class work as a talented member of a dynamic marketing team for one of the fastest growing brands in the industry – reinventing how people search and advertise for homes.

We’re looking for a collaborative, customer-centric, performance-driven individual with a never settle mentality ready to be at the forefront of our next stage of growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create holistic product marketing and product launch roadmaps including well defined requirements, product positioning, value propositions, product launch and messaging.
• Define market opportunity for products, including segmentation and competitive analysis.
• Write, socialize and drive consensus on marketing, sales enablement, and launch plans
• Work seamlessly with cross-department teams including, but not limited to, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance and Sales
• Provide market insights to drive development of campaign strategies including demand creation and reputation building.
• Lead creation of training frameworks, materials, templates and standards that scale – this includes drafting, editing, maintaining and publishing documents, videos and interactive course for internal and external audiences.
• Create product retention and upsell/cross-sell product positioning to accelerate product adoption and mitigate cancel/down-sell risk.
• Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market and communicate results of related sales and marketing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in a variety of marketing related roles including Product, Brand, Sales enablement.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on a marketplace or advertising product.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading a team of Product Marketers
• Proven lead with strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to influence and collaborate cross functionally
• Deep understanding of Sales and Marketing processes, customer behavior and market trends
• Strong proficiency in using data to drive decision making.
