About the Job
As a Production Planner, you will be managing the scheduling and timeliness of vaious manufacturing processes. You will be working closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Administrator to ensure the company meets all production deadlines. Your duties include managing material and equipment availability, scheduling production and monitoring the production process for issues.
Your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and execute production schedule to meet customer orders
- Plan material or sub-materials requirements according to production plan and work closely with the purchasing team to ensure sufficient supply of materials is maintain for smooth production
- Work closely with the administrator to ensure production reports are updated timely for accurate progress tracking
- Work closely with the Production Manager and Purchaser to ensure materials, manpower and machine capacity are available according to the production schedule
- Develop, implement and maintain work instructions for current and new projects
- Maintain production process records and work force training records according to requirements
- Perform tasks as assigned by manager
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
· Minimum 2 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry
· Relevant working experience in manufacturing will be an added advantage
· Strong planning and organising ability
· Meticulous with an eye for details
