JOB TITLE: MANUAL ASSEMBLY OPERATOR

SALARY: £11.70 PER HOUR

HOURS: MONDAY, 07:30 - 16:30, TUESDAY - THURSDAY,07:30 - 17:00 & FRIDAY, 07:30 - 14:00



Your role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Manual Assembly Operator to join our Manufacturing team at our Aberdeen site.

This role will be responsible for safely and accurately manufacturing wooden crates using the tools and equipment provided. You
will ensure that you work at an optimum level to maximise output whilst complying with customer standards and design
specifications as documented in the work orders.

As a Manual Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for efficient bench set ups and ensuring that you have all necessary
information required regarding quality standards and output levels, to enable you to carry out your role correctly and accurately.
You will also need to promptly identify and report any problems with equipment to your line manager.

You will play a key part in the team to undertake all tasks that are delegated to you by the Production Supervisors and Managers
on site and always adhere to our Health and Safety Procedures and Policies to maintain the required high safety standards, which
includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment when stipulated.

Working effectively with others, you will also have excellent time keeping and attendance record and demonstrate a high level of
Health and Safety awareness. A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail are key to success.

tools and equipment provided, ensuring that you work at your optimum level to maximise your output and quality of the products in
line with the required specification.

You will be responsible for working effectively to ensure that workstations are set up to be efficient, a continuous high level of
output is maintained during each shift and to ensure your tools & equipment are safe to use at all times by completing all
relevant checks and reporting any defects. You will undertake all tasks that are delegated to you by Supervisors and Managers on
site.

You will play a key part in the team to adhere to our Health and Safety Procedures and Policies to maintain the required high
safety standards, which includes wearing your Personal Protective Equipment when stipulated. You will act as a key member of the
Scott Pallets team and demonstrate the company values when dealing with all internal and external stakeholders. You must be
punctual and follow the company attendance procedure.

As a Manual Assembly Operative, you will work effectively with others, have excellent time keeping, be a team player and
understand the wider site processes to support when able to do so. A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail are key to
success.
