Manpower is recruiting Part Time Production Operatives to work for our client, based in Edinburgh. You will work within the factory on the production line packing the products. We are looking for new staff to pick up 1-2 shifts a week 16-20 hours with possibility of overtime or extra shifts during busy periods.

Shifts Available

The shifts are planned on a weekly basis and allocated based on your availability. This would be suitable for students or someone looking to pick up some work 1-2 days a week.

Dayshifts 06:30 - 14:30
Backshifts 14:30 - 22:30

£10.78 per Hour - Weekly Pay - Due to Rise after 1 April
Overtime paid at 1.5X Basic Rate - For all hours over 8 each shift
Full training on site
PPE Provided and induction plan for every candidate

As a Production Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

* Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
* Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels
* May be some heavy lifting involved on the line
The ideal candidate will have:

* Good observational skills to spot defective products
* Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
* The ability to work quickly to meet production targets
* Good team working skills and the ability to work on your own
* The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
