Position: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Warrington

Hours: 0600 - 1400hrs Mon to Fri /1400hrs - 2300 hrs Mon to Thur /1400hrs -1800hrs Fri

Salary: £35,440 p/a

To create an environment of high-performance, well organised Engineering Machinery to Safely produce, to tight tolerance, cylinders for next stages of production.

Role Objectives & accountabilities:

Safe and in-specification manufacture of cylinders initially in the Grinding & Polishing Department with potential for multiskilling.

Reading, understanding, and interpreting complex Engineering specifications and producing jobs with tight tolerances.

Working closely with the Production, Quality and Commercial teams to ensure deadlines are met.

Ownership of process specific Quality, marking, completing, and capturing QA documentation

Checking QA data points, ensuring fully compliant and correct documentation of checks are present with each part before and after processing.

Understanding and implementing specific customer requests and instructions from work tickets.

Maintenance of work area, including machinery, pedestrian, and vehicle routes within the factory.

Participate in small group activities and project work.

Skills and Experience:

Mechanical Engineering background or demonstrable understanding

Anilox manufacturers preferred.

Competent use of DTI, micrometre and working knowledge of TIR

Demonstrable experience using lathes, grinders or other such equipment.

Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Nantwich

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm & Fri 8am-4pm

Pay: £11.44 p/h, paid weekly

Contract Type: Temporary ongoing

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using hand tools
• Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure specifications are met
• Stack finished products onto pallets

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Able to work at speed to keep up with machine outputs
• Able to work in a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Candidates need to be able to complete 2-3 weeks of training in the Deeside site prior to starting

HRGO are recruiting for a machine/saw operative to join our manufacturing client in Ellesmere Port. You will be responsible for operating metal cutting machinery to ensure the accurate and efficient cutting of metal materials according to specifications.

Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Ellesmere Port

Hours: Monday-Friday 3 shift rotation (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am), 30 mins paid break

Pay: £12.50, plus shift allowance up to £14.50 on nights

Contract Type: Temp to perm

Responsibilities

• Verify stock to work order requirements
• Training on metal cutting saw
• Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications
• Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting
• Marking parts with identification
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Operate Counterbalance FLT to move products to warehouse

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• A valid Counterbalance License is essential, with previous experience
• Ability to work all shifts required on 3 shift rotating pattern
• Able to work individually as well as in a team

• Support business teams as required and continuously improve safety, quality and environmental standards directly related to role.
• Drives standards and processes with continuous development and improvement.
• Completion of electronic and written data capture for all jobs.
• Autonomous maintenance of work area, including machinery, pedestrian, and vehicle routes within factory work area.
• Improve right first-time quality of the site (OTIF)

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering background or demonstrable understanding
• Anilox manufacture preferred.
• Competent use of DTI, micrometer and working knowledge of TIR
• Demonstrable experience using non-CNC Cylindrical Grinder & Lathes or similar.
• Attention to detail and robust problem-solving skills.
• Goal oriented and willing to own personal development whilst embracing IT and other new technologies.
• Willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement methods.
• FLT license (not essential but preferred)
