Production Operatives

Alfreton, Derbyshire
Monday to Friday – 6am to 6pm
£11.50 per hour

Our client located in Alfreton, who are specialists in their field are currently recruiting a number of production operatives due to an increase in business and their continued growth. They have exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and determined candidates to join their growing team, with career progression on offer.

Responsibilities:
• Ensuring all correct ingredients are prepared for the mix
• Working with raw fish and meat
• Weigh ingredients accordingly
• Mix ingredients accordingly
• Lift and put raw ingredients into mixers (up to 25kgs)
• Operating machinery according to product requirements
• Undertaking necessary check such temperature etc
• Washing and cleaning of production equipment and work area (clean as you go attitude)
• Labelling, packing and palletising the end product
• Complying with food hygiene and safety requirements
• Working on a line in a designated area to complete orders and follow targets
• Packing and quality checking of products to ensure they are of a high standard
• Ensure all work areas are kept to a high standard in relation to cleanliness

Requirements:
• No previous experience is necessary; however, it would be advantageous
• A team player, with the ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent attention to detail is beneficial for this role
