FM Conway are currently searching for a 360 Operator to work within our Recycling Yard at Heathrow on a 6-month fixed term contract, working Monday to Friday 2:30pm-11:30pm.
The Night 360 Operator Role
The 360 Operator will be required to maintain incoming materials as well as those already on site. Using these materials, the 360 Operator will feed a crusher to produce one of several of our recycled products.
The duties of the 360 Operator role include:
- Feeding raw material to a crusher, screener or similar
- Managing incoming materials
- Loading vehicles using a loading shovel where required
- Monitoring quality and production to achieve desired volumes
- Daily maintenance and pre-start check of all plant
- Operating mobile plant efficiently, safely and environmentally friendly
- Ensuring site health and safety procedures are implemented
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for an experienced operator who is comfortable working as part of a team as well as alone. The successful candidate will be required to supervise the yard effectively from a production, quality and health & safety perspective. Good standards with regards to general housekeeping and a positive, interdependent attitude is required.
