Pay rates and typical working hours:

• Standard: £11.46 p/h
• Overtime x 1.25
• You will be working from 06:00am until 14:00pm or 14:00pm until 22:00pm any 5 days out of 7

Duties as a Production Operatives:

• Producing ready to cook meals, Kebabs, and BBQ products
• Working in a chilled food environment with raw meat and cooked products
• Weighing out raw & cooked material
• Processing Packing Quality
• Control GMP/Clean as you go Palletising

What do we expect from you as a Production Operative:

• Have a Basic Food Safety Knowledge or Food Safety Level 2 (Cert)
• Be able to clearly communicate
• Good standard of written and spoken English, to be able to communicate with managers and colleagues, follow direction/requests and be able to read any written instructions clearly
• Respect at work: Respect your colleagues and managers (treat others how you wish to be treated) and adhere to the site code of conduct
• Respect company property
• Adhere to Food Safety rules, policies, and procedure
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules, policies, and procedures on site
• Report any near misses or hazards to your manager
• Protect yourself and protect others…see it, say it, report it!
• Ability to work under pressure

We are immediately looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our friendly team in Hull, HU3 2BN.

Your pay rate as a Manufacturing Operative will be:

• Standard pay: £15.89p/h PLUS a fantastic overtime rate of £20.30 (over 37hrs)
• £27.06 if you work on Sundays or Bank Holidays

Day to day life as a Manufacturing Operative:

• Responsible for safely and competently
• Reporting to the Cell Manager
• Carrying out all duties required to efficiently operate the film processes whilst continually improving our standards towards being a World Class Operation
• Our client is a Global Medical Technology business with operations in 33 countries.
• They develop and market advanced medical devices that help health care and professionals treat patients more effectively - and patients get back to their normal lives faster

Typical hours as a Manufacturing Operative are:

• 2 Rotational shifts
• Monday to Friday, 8 hours shifts, days, afters 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm rotating weekly. 5 hours on Friday total 37 hours per week.
• Flexibility is required as you must be able to work all shift patterns

Our ideal candidate:

• Should be able to work with minimal supervision to the highest level of quality, and have a basic understanding of Health and Safety procedures and practices
• Previous experience in food manufacturing would be advantageous
