Reporting to the Production Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Planner to join an established team, where you will be able to grow and develop this role and current systems to improve production processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Prioritise workflow throughout the multiple production processes to meet customer orders, sales demands, manufacturing capacity and raw material demands.
• Produce production schedules, manufacturing orders and providing lead times to meet the delivery schedules and minimise down time.
• Co-ordinate internal and external raw material supplies to the business.
• Be the key source of information at the daily production meeting, deputise for the Production Manager in their absence, highlight KPI’s and making important planning and business decisions.
• Planning long and short-term production capacity and dealing with any issues arising.
We’re extremely keen to talk to Production Planners that have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of production planning in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- The ability to work to short lead times and deliver OTIF.
- Experience of make to order and make to stock planning.
- Knowledge of costings
- M3 (Movex) / SAP or other MRP experience.
This role would suit candidates that have working as a Production Planner, Production Scheduler, Production Co-Ordinator within an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment.
