The Role
As a Project Accountant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary; providing accurate and timely financial information and advice relating to all areas of responsibility, to the Business Unit and Project Managers to enable them to exercise effective financial control, over the area to maximise value for money, cashflow and profitability.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for the production of monthly Project Status Packs, for management reviews in conjunction with the respective Project Teams. These packs are also to be prepared on a quarterly basis for Senior Management review:

• Production and analysis of accounts in accordance with the issued monthly timetable.
• Maintain the integrity of data that supports the accounts maintaining full audit trails for both internal and external audit purposes.
• Raising customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and management information requirements.
• Production of Cost Certificates / statements for MoD in accordance with the contract terms and conditions.

This role is a full-time position, 36 hours a week, and will be based at Devonport Royal Dockyard, with a hybrid working from home arrangement. The expectation is to work onsite at least three days per week.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential Experience of the Project Accountant:

• Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• Ideally, you'll hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ACMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent / similar. If you're not full qualified, you must have suitable experience to compensate.

The role
As a Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The role sits within the MIP (Major Infrastructure Projects) /10 Dock Astute Project where there is a vacancy in the electrical services project team. You will take the design through due process / approval and lead the management and delivery of the construction works (managing the detailed designs for the electrical systems, working with people to make sure designs are compliant. You do not need any technical electrical knowledge or qualifications to apply for this role as we're looking for a motivated individual who has managed projects and is eager for a new challenge.

About the role

The Vacancy

We are looking for a Business Development Manager in the Devon / Cornwall area. As a Business Development Manager you will be the cornerstone of our sales team. Our Business Development Mangers generate new revenue and help us grow and build brand awareness across a variety of industries and locations.

Role and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager

• You will generate a predetermined number of appointments on a daily/weekly basis from cold calling and attend pre-booked meetings from the call centre on a daily/ weekly basis.
• Utilising a 360 sales process from appointment/cold call to terminal installation. Completing customer satisfaction reviews and ensuring accurate and complete application information.
• Travelling to local businesses, building knowledge about your region, nurturing and developing relationships with our key clients.
• Provide specialist knowledge and advice on the products you are selling, ensuring you are up to date on any advances or changes.
• Develop opportunities in target markets, with marketing support.

The Skills were looking for

• A proven track record of working in B2B sales/ a field sales specialist role with demonstrable experience of B2B sales processes and best practices, including dialler, lead management and CRM system usage.
• You should be an excellent communicator, able to adapt your approach for different people and have a chat with anyone and remain calm under pressure.
• As a Business Development Manager you will need strong negotiations skills, with the ability to influence confidently across all levels.
• Be driven, motivated and resilient.
• Love working with people, whether it’s building great relationships with teammates or providing an amazing service for customers.
• Personal accountability for the achievement of sales targets and objectives
