About the role:

The successful candidate will join our Pune based Software Delivery Center and participate in the requirement analysis, configuration, testing, delivery of payment solutions based on a J2EE Payments Product (AvantGard Trax) along with creating valuable Project & Practice documentation. 

You will work in a dedicated project team and will be involved in a project from start (requirement gathering and estimation) to finish (go-live).

What you will be doing

• Work end to end on upgrade projects to bring our existing clients on older Trax versions to the latest Trax version.
• Build an understanding of the product on a technical and functional level, understand the context of our clients, participate in solution design, testing activities, and deliver solutions that address the business needs of our clients.
• In the context of the upgrades, work with the PS consultant (in other geographies) and our clients to understand client’s business, their business drivers to implement and upgrade Trax, functional scope and requirements of the current upgrade.
• Identify requirement gaps and functional risks in the upgrade so that these can be addressed early in the process.
• Construct an upgrade backlog accurately identifying all the functional gaps between the customer specific implementation and their base product version. Add detail to items where necessary- create user stories/functional use cases.
• Reconfigure the customer specific functionality on upgraded version as seen fit for the project and aligned with the product offerings.
• Evaluate the client’s test data and/or engineer test data to be used throughout the upgrade.
• Drive all phases of test execution (with test frameworks and tools created and maintained by the dev team) and documentation including functional, regression, usability, and acceptance testing.
• Actively participate in the SCRUM rituals within your team (Planning Meeting, Stand-up, Retrospective, Demo, Backlog review meetings, etc.).
• Work closely with the Developers in your team for better understanding of the technical aspects of Trax configuration and tools.
• In all the above, follow the prescribed upgrade approach and bring improvement ideas to the table.
• Deliver working solutions to our clients.

Along with the deliveries of these solutions, you will be responsible to play a vital role in designing and managing information systems, as well as analyzing and tracking data needed to facilitate upgrade projects and various related tasks.

This will include:

• Conducting analysis and developing information artifacts
• Collect, calculate, and check information from various data sources
• Devise solutions/design system to implement information management process
• Generating accurate and comprehensive reports on operational data

The Financial Project Analyst has wide ranging responsibilities of PFA related duties. Work with Project Management Team to accurately forecast future units and revenue. Manage the financial health of our projects, working closely with the project to team to accurate record all financial data, report financial data clearly to the Project team. As a Technical Consultant, you will bring expert-level depth/breath of skills, implementation experience and knowledge of asset finance industry practices, regulations and processes, as well as understanding the individual client configurations.  With expertise in auto and equipment financing business process, provide with business or technical guidance to clients’ enterprise software implementations of FIS Asset Finance system. Formulate systems scope and objectives considering client business plan and industry requirements. Technical skills in data structure, data migration, .net and SQL.

About the Team:

Technology delivery of Projects and Client Engagement for FIS® Wealth as a Service business. FIS® Wealth as a Service delivers modernized and agile technology, backed by a comprehensive global outsourcing and asset servicing model, to firmly put Wealth Management firms in control of their core business.

What you will be doing:

• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
• Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.
• Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc.
• Identifies and documents business strategies, objectives and drivers.
• Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics, and identifies improvement opportunities.
• Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
• Re-engineers processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
• Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Master’s degree desirable.

What you bring: 
• Writes test plans and test cases to ensure changes which are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
• Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests. Ensures changes made by programmers are correct.
• Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
• Verifies through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts.
• Reports and reviews testing results.
• Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems or new procedures. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience.
