What skills, knowledge and experience will you need to show us in your application?   
- Experience of leading, developing and communicating a multi-year financial business plan to achieve key strategic benefits.
- Experience and ability to analyse and accurately interpret complex data from various sources, add insight, make recommendations, and credibly present reasoned conclusions to influence and persuade senior board members to take action or make decisions.
- Experience of strong people leadership in capability development, including coaching, training and setting standards and frameworks.
- Experience of analysing, forecasting and planning workforce supply and demand.
- Working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators, Risk Management and Internal Audit at board level in a large organisation.
You and your role   
The role is working within our Digital Modernisation and Efficiency Business Management Team who lead services across DWP Digital to ensure the successful delivery of Digital Group's Business Plan.
You will be responsible for considering, understanding and analysing large amounts of information, summarising into key points to share with a range of audiences, to inform decision making.
You will develop, design and communicate business plans that achieve key strategic benefits including aspects such as people, technology and financial implications.
You will also lead a multi-disciplined team located across various Digital Hub locations, providing regular strategic direction and reporting directly to the Head of Business Management in Digital Modernisation and Efficiency where you will work closely to achieve set objectives.
As well as your own team, you will have chance to coach and mentor other members of our Business Services Practice. You'll help us encourage collaboration and shared ownership throughout the team and grow capability in our thriving community of practice.

Pay: In return for your skills, we offer competitive pay of £55,557 p.a.   
Pension: You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97% (Worth £16,000/year).
