Demand Planning Assistant
£23,400 plus great benefits (Work Level 6C)
12-month fixed term contract
Manchester, hybrid working, minimum one day a week in the office

We're looking for a motivated Demand Planning Assistant to join our category team. In this role, you'll be supporting colleagues within category teams, helping to make sure that things are running smoothly, and providing high quality administrative support. This is a great opportunity for you to develop your skills, and to gain valuable exposure across Co-op's Supply Chain. It's an ideal role for someone looking to progress their career in this exciting area of our business.
What you'll do
- Support data integrity making sure that compliance to process is sustained
- Provide continued support to categories through reporting and process compliance
- Support a range of ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Work closely with the Demand Planners, supporting with range events and promotions, helping to make sure that compliance is right
- Support supply chain category management, working collaboratively with internal and external partners
- Work on a range of ad-hoc projects to support the team as required and opportunity to investigate and analyse forecasting queries from suppliers and our store teams
This role would suit people who have
- Some previous admin experience with intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience of working in an administrative role
- A high level of attention to detail
- Openness to change and a desire to learn and progress your career within the Coop
- Confident communication skills with the ability to engage with a range of colleagues at different levels
