We are seeking a senior or project QS for an expanding well respected main contractor based on site ASAP, the project is design and build with £29 million steel frame Project with offices , industrial and a nest 5 storey steel frame car park across the expansive site over a 42 week period .

The project needs an experienced project QS to work with the existing team initially to assist on procurement of sub contact packages and collating information on the live and final accounts of sub-contractors and deal with the day to day surveying on the project throughout

The project initially needs someone to deal with the procurement as the flagship schemes is built on a fast-track program

Not only is this an exciting project but ongoing opportunities exist for a QS looking to prove their ability to work or an up and coming and financially sound contractor with real progression opportunities

Reporting to the MQS and working with the Project Manager and with the full support of the growing team to ensure success on site you will have a number of packages to deal with across the site procure including civils , structures , fit out and services and the opportunity to go on and run them and procure and final account various others as the scheme progresses

Ideally candidate will have experience of full cycle surveying on site and with both build and Civils elements in the past on site working with the project manager to successfully deliver the scheme with head office support throughout.

Preferable is a professional quantity surveying qualification HNC/ ONC/ BSC and with at least 3 years live site experience

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Quality Assurance Business Partner to become a part of our high performing Quality & Consistency team. This is a unique opportunity to coordinate, support, and review the implementation of standard QA processes across our faculties.
As a pivotal point of contact for curriculum staff on quality-related matters, you will also undertake the role of Quality Nominee whilst liaising with our partner Awarding Organisations.
You will be instrumental in supporting faculties to uphold best practice in assessment and to assist them in preparing for any external sampling processes. Your responsibilities will include conducting internal reviews and sampling to identify and propose improvement actions.

Your new role

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Central Carbon team within Environmental Sustainability Division in Safety, Engineering and Standards (SES). The Project Manager role is part of the Central Carbon Team, which is responsible for bringing together the activities National Highways is already taking to reduce and mitigate our carbon emissions, and the further future activities being identified to help meet the Government’s commitment to meet net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The Central Carbon Team are also responsible for advising and updating National Highways Executive and Board on the progress of the Net Zero Plan.

The Central Carbon Project Manager will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a programme plan, which is adaptable and flexible as the work evolves. The Project Manager will also be responsible for using that programme plan to progress, monitor and control delivery to ensure we deliver the Net Zero Plan and refine it over Road Period 2 and beyond.

Please note that this position can be based from any of our UK offices but occasional travel to Bristol, Birmingham, Guildford, Manchester and other key offices to attend meetings may be required.

What you’ll be leading on

To be successful

About the role: Business Engagement Specialist
The Business Engagement Specialist (BES) team is an exciting team to work for, we work directly with employers to help them grow their talent pipelines. We have a variety of apprenticeships on offer and can help businesses employ an apprentice with us. We also work directly with employers to help them take on T-level students on work placement. Your role will be predominately external facing; working closely with employers through outreach and also following up on various leads and enquiries, however you will also need to work internally with our team of performance coaches, tutors and faculty managers.
You will be based at any of our campuses. Some of the BES team currently adopt a hybrid working pattern and the successful applicant will have the option to work from home for part of the week if they would prefer to do so.
This role will be predominately focused on engaging with businesses across the Oxfordshire/Berkshire region however the successful applicant will need to be adaptable and flexible should the needs of the business change.
You will be engaging with businesses and helping them to solve their recruitment challenges through accessing a pipeline of talent via apprenticeships and T-level placements but also via other means of engagement with our college group.
This is a permanent, full time position based in Guildford, with hybrid working available.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator/relationship builder, experienced at working towards targets/KPIs, highly organised and efficient, adaptable and flexible, and interested in working in education.
Sales / engagement experience would be highly beneficial, as would knowledge of apprenticeships and/or T-Levels.

The post holder is responsible for leading on financial management and business partnering and reporting for the ICB and maintaining clear financial systems and processes to support the improvement of population health through the sound management of financial resources. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the ICB operates to best practice financial standards and maximises value for money in the use of resources within the policy framework set by NHS England. The post holder will deputise for the Chief Finance Officer as required.

The Transformation & Digital PSO is a member of the Transformation & Digital Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Team, that sits within the Transformation & Digital Directorate. The PMO Team supports both the Digital and Transformation portfolios of work for FY24/25, with a significant number of programmes and projects for delivery, in a number of phases and key priority areas. The primary purpose and key objectives of the PSO role are to support the overarching governance and assurance process required to assure that the Digital and Transformation programmes and projects are/remain on-track to deliver in-year, aligned to the delivery metrics agreed (collating and maintaining data in a universal form), and also providing hands-on support to Programme and Project Managers with delivery of specific tasks, activities and/or small/discreet aspects of live programmes and projects.
