Business Development Manager
SALARY: £30,000 Basic + (£30,000 Guarantee for First Year) so £60k base year 1
Realistic OTE of £155k

The role of Business Development Manager is to develop new business opportunities for my client through working with Telemarketing and the Services Team and building your own referral network.

They are looking for a dynamic, motivated, high performing new Business Development professional, selling Employment Law and Health & Safety outsourcing solutions to the mid-market sector (30+ employee businesses).

In return for this, we are looking for someone who has:

* 2 years plus track record of selling in a B2B environment (Industry experience NOT required).
* Confident in value based/consultative selling.
* Ability to sell to different audiences including Business Owners, Board of Directors and HR Managers.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Attending sales appointments booked by your Telemarketing partner.
* Working with the Head of Seminars to generate a quarterly seminar plan to maximise sales opportunities.
* Generating and attending meetings with potential introducers and referral partners.
* Self-generating new leads, appointments and referrals through day to day new business activity.
* Achieve quarterly sales targets.
* Accurately build, manage and maintain your sales pipeline.

This is an ongoing temporary role with hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Working within their busy offices, the successful candidate will join the team in providing key support to their administration team, duties will include:

- Accurately processing and uploading sensitive information onto internal databases whilst maintaining compliance standards.
- Dealing with high volume of information and requests coming into the team whilst working to ensure these are processed in line with SLA's
- Keeping on top of busy workload, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines.
- Acting as a point of contact for the department.
- Handling all administrative tasks as required by the departmental Team Lead

The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous admin experience and strong customer service skills
- Experience working with databases and amending /pulling data from these
- Ability to work well under pressure and pick up new systems/processes quickly
