Who are we?

The CANDo Programme works for the two acute Trusts in Dorset (Dorset County Hospital and University Hospitals Dorset). We bring together clinicians and managers from both trusts into networks to identify where working together more effectively can reduce inequalities, improve outcomes, improve service resilience or improve productivity. We then support these teams in making those collaborations a reality. We work flexibly across two NHS Trusts, and around ten specialties with a mix of home and office based working.

Who are you?

We need an extra project manager for 12 months who is able to deliver all the core project management skills and on top of that enthuse, persuade and inspire collaboration. You should be tenacious and resilient with a positive and “can-do” approach, able to create and exploit opportunities to grow collaboration between teams more used to competing with each other.

SUMMARY JOB PURPOSE

· To provide effective support to the development and running of clinical networks in the Clinical Acute Networks Dorset Programme (CANDo) and projects generated in those networks.

· To support clinical leads in either of Dorset’s acute trusts, the community Trust or Primary Care in running clinical networks as prioritized by the Provider Collaborative

· To support the development of additional clinical networks

· To use data to inform the development of projects to support the aims of the Clinical Acute Networks Dorset programme

· To lead on the planning delivery, and management of a number of projects across Dorset County and University Hospitals Dorset

· To build effective project teams by working closely with clinical, management and admin staff, volunteers and patients

The post-holder is responsible to ensure any staff allocated to work with them, are given comprehensive and high quality information regarding all aspects of projects.. The post holder will be involved with the management and support of staff and volunteers.

Responsibility for Information Resources

Conversant with Trust wide systems to enable data input and retrieval

Complies at all times with the Trust and National data protection and Confidentiality policies.

Input data into relevant spreadsheets and databases relating to projects.

Maintain spreadsheets and databases to prospectively collect, monitor, analyse and report information data, including trends.

Produce data/audit reports using simple statistical analysis.

The post-holder will undertake audits as required, both local and national, developing action plans from outcomes and implementing change.

There is significant computer work involved in the post requiring the post holder to sit at a computer screen for long periods of time.

There may be a requirement for moderate physical activity for short periods when moving records, paper or equipment.

The post holder will use advanced keyboard skills to produce accurate reports and communicate with programme team and wider stakeholders

Mental Effort

The post holder will be required to undertake work requiring a high level of concentration on at least a daily basis. The work pattern will be unpredictable and so there is a likelihood of frequent interruptions.

The post holder is expected to concentrate for long periods at a time transferring and documenting sensitive/confidential data into databases, spreadsheets and word documents. However, the work will be within clear procedures and processes.

The post holder must be able to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines, both local and those set by Macmillan as part of this project.

Emotional Effort

There will be some occasional direct and indirect exposure to emotional or distressing situations.

Working Conditions
• This is a hybrid role where some homeworking and some office working is expected and enabled. A full time post holder in this role would normally be expected to be in one of the acute sites at least 2 days per week.
• Whilst the post holder could nominate a base from any of the acute hospital sites the post holder will from time to time need to travel to other sites in Dorset.
• There are no unsocial hours associated with this role.

General Duties Provide project management to the Dorset Targeted Lung Health Check Programme. Proactively support the project within and across divisions. JOB PURPOSE To take overall responsibility for the provision of comprehensive, efficient and high quality secretarial and administrative tasks to enable the Ambulance Commissioning Support Service to deliver the core functions as set out under the Collaborative/Lead Commissioner Agreement for the South West 999 Ambulance Contract. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Assistant Service Manager and Matron in delivering the care group objectives and in the management of their teams.
• Provide leadership and management to the secretarial and administration teams;
• Take an active role in supporting business planning and developments within the care group.
• Recent experience in working operationally in a healthcare setting
• Good communication skills and can engage with the multidisciplinary team effectively.
• The ability to use own initiative and make informed decision

You will be working for a specialist Mechanical HVAC contractor, that works on a variety of different commercial projects usually on high-end offices within the London area.
Your new role
You will be working as an experienced Mechanical Project Manager overseeing projects. Typically you would be overseeing 3 to 4 projects and the values could be equally as varied usually between £100,000 to £2/3 million.
What you'll need to succeed
You preferably be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with experience of overseeing multiple projects. It would be particularly advantageous if you have experience of CAT B fit outs.

Job Overview This role is a key part of supporting strategic and transformation programmes across the Dorset Integrated Care System (ICS). Delivering analysis and assurance the post holder will ensure business cases, investment plans and improvement opportunities are robust and able to deliver our ambitious change plans. This is a great opportunity for an analyst with strong technical expertise who is comfortable working with large and complex datasets to develop financial models for forecasting, scenario testing and planning. This role will suit an individual who enjoys supporting service change and has experience of developing and analysing cost and benefit models to evaluate options. Strong excel skills are a must, but the ideal candidate will have proven ability in using SQL to extract and transform data and experience building visualisations in tools such as PowerBI. This is a new position with the opportunity for the postholder to shape and develop the role over time in conjunction with senior management. Job Purpose The Finance Analyst Strategy is responsible for providing technical expertise and analytical skills to lead development of robust financial models in support of planning and service change. They will also act as the first point of contact with the Directorate for supporting the development of business cases, including ICS wide service change, capital programmes and funding applications. The post holder will work with data from a variety of sources, including financial information from partner organisations and non-financial data such as workforce, performance and activity across the system. They will utilise this data in novel and innovative ways to produce useful and insightful management information that supports financial planning. This role will be a key point of contact across the system for colleagues developing business cases, with investments typically ranging from £1m - £20m. The role will provide advice, financial analysis and independent assurance into these business cases to support evaluation and realisation of benefits, delivering service changes that improve health and wellbeing for the population of Dorset. As the ICS develops this role will support the planning and prioritisation of the capital allocation, ensuring the funding available is utilised to deliver the best outcomes and that organsational and system capital plans are aligned to key strategies such as digital and estates, in turn supporting the operational and clinical strategies that underpin the ICS Joint Forward Plan and long term ambitions.
