What is the job role?

We are looking for someone to oversee and coordinate new projects that are currently being piloted within the Skills and Employment Team supporting residents and our culturally diverse communities.

The post holder will be required to lead, co-ordinate and facilitate the projects and able to analyse, understand and interpret data, as well as covering a range of duties directed by the Project Lead. You will represent the Service across a wide range of forums and will need to demonstrate effective communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

These projects are funded by the UKSPF grant and require additional staff to ensure their successful implementation and delivery.

These new projects will be for a fixed term and funded until 31st March 2025.

Project Management

The role of Business Development Manager will be an integral addition to Bramley Health, mapping out all mental health services nationwide for our 8 care homes and hospital.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Development Manager will work to improve Bramley Health's market position and foster initiatives that help achieve financial growth. They will manage business development activities by driving sales, and the acquisition of new admissions, referrals, clients, and new business for our services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

o Building relationships with Integrated Care Boards, mental health trusts, local authorities, and continuing healthcare teams nationwide
o Set and meet agreed targets for specific care home leads, customer meetings, follow up, and sales leads
o Manage the BD Executive and Referrals Coordinator to drive referrals for customers through to admissions in a timely manner to meet objectives and always deliver customer satisfaction
o Handle and respond to sales enquiries for new business by responding promptly and professionally to maximise conversion rates
o Research projects in segmented areas where we have the least traction to maximise our exposure and to seek new business contacts
o Conduct customer visits in services to enhance the experience and create a positive impression and maximise conversion rates
o Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs in your priority areas linked to new care home openings


KEY SKILLS

o Minimum of 5 years prior experience within a healthcare BDM role
o Target focused and sales driven
o UK driving license
o Good communication and organisation skills
o Results driven, pro-active approach to own workload
o Understanding of a CRM database
o Time management and prioritisation skills

What will the post holder be doing?

This postholder will be an influential strategic thinker within Ofqual, developing and delivering the organisation’s strategy and running its annual strategy cycle. The postholder manages Ofqual’s insight, planning, and reporting functions, and will be involved in a range of strategic initiatives beyond that. The postholder is an important strategic partner of the Executive Team and for senior leaders in Ofqual.

Providing R&D Project Management administration for R&D Projects and throughout the project life cycle. Supporting several areas of work concurrently with the assigned project or programme and manage competing demands. Managing the team incoming email inbox and using their initiative to deal with emails appropriately. Working autonomously with effective time management skills to manage own workload. Acting as a point of contact and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously. Ensuring that all project and programme documentation is shared and accessible across the team. Support the successful delivery of the small projects within an acute hospital environment, managing conflicting demands, whilst minimising any potential disruption or disturbance to patients, staff, or other visitors. Planning, co-ordination, and management (including of small budgets) of a number of different projects or workstreams at any time. This will include liaison with various key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the demands of the Trust are appropriately met. Developing and monitoring projects using project management tools and templates ensuring appropriate reporting at all levels. Liaise with other members of PMO team, Strategy, Finance, Workforce, ICT, external suppliers and clinical teams to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. Provide, receive and interpret information to ensure successful delivery of the projects. Recognise complex information and escalate accordingly. Effectively document and monitor project risks in line with organisation priorities. Awareness of mitigation and contingency planning. Support the identification, documentation, and monitoring of benefits to ensure projects deliver against agreed deliverables. Plan and support the implementation of changes. Recognise when there is a need to adjust deliverables to meet unexpected circumstances. Produce and maintain the formal project documentation required throughout the project lifecycle including the collection of information to support review and/or development of policies and procedures.
