Key Role:

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager (US Navy Surface Warfare) is responsible for the management and growth of Teledyne FLIR’s business with the Surface Warfare Community and related OEM customers.  The individual will target specific platform and program customers that are identified as appropriate candidates for FLIR’s solutions and technology; or are potential teaming partners.  Working with current and new Navy customers to establish requirements and mission needs that match Teledyne FLIR’s current and future product capabilities, this person will present Teledyne FLIR’s Electro-Optical, Unmanned, and Integrated Solution capabilities in an effort to secure product orders, development contracts and program business consistent with the forecast for the line of business.  This person will monitor and document market requirements and communicate these to the product management group in an effort to have current and future products better meet market needs.  He/she will provide customers with visibility to Teledyne FLIR’s product line, expertise in EO/IR and Integrated sensor systems and developmental capabilities at a variety of forums to include; personal meetings, formal briefings, social events, trade shows and seminars.

• Responsible for meeting the established bookings plan for products associated with the target customers and platforms.

What You Will Do:

The Project Controller/Finance Analyst will work with Program Management, Contracts and Accounting to establish and track program contractual requirements and monitor the financial progress of each project.  The Project Control Analyst will be responsible for managing projects and reviewing project cost, revenue, and billing. Diversey is overgenomen door Solenis, dus de komende maanden ligt de focus op deze integratie. De ambitie is om de komende jaren flink te groeien en de beste en grootste te worden in wat we doen.

Diversey, a Solenis Company, draagt bij aan een betere en meer veilige wereld door het ontwikkelen van duurzame hygiene en wateroplossingen. Minder plastic in verpakkingen, minder chemicalien in schoonmaak en zuiniger met ons water. Wij zijn typisch zo een bedrijf wat onbekend is van naam (in Nederland), maar groot van impact.

Over het team…

Binnen het Benelux team werken er 4 HR business partners die hun eigen klantgroep supporten. Daarnaast werk je aan elk jaar aan een aantal projecten. Bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van verzuim, performance of arbeidsvoorwaarden.

Ook binnen het HR team Benelux verandert er veel. Dat biedt geweldige kansen, maar het vraagt ook veel van jou. Namelijk een generalistische, pro actieve kijk op HR. Je kunt echt het verschil maken door vanuit verbinding te werken aan praktische oplossingen.

We gaan werken met COE’s en HR OPS, zodat de lokale HR teams (waar jij deel van uit gaat maken) zich kunnen richten op de HRBP rol.

De rol
Nu is er nog best wat operationeel werk, maar de komende maanden zal dat steeds meer worden uitbesteed aan de nieuw op te zetten HR OPS (in het buitenland). Ook zal er steeds meer ondersteuning komen vanuit de Centers of Expertise (deze zijn er al).

Na deze transitie ligt de focus op de business partner rol, waarbij je vooral leiders support. Voor die tijd ben je ook bezig met operationele en zelfs ook administratieve zaken.

Dit vind jij leuk aan je werk…
Jij vindt het leuk om orde in de chaos te scheppen. Je maakt tijd om goed naar de mensen te luisteren en hen verder helpen. Je ziet het grote plaatje, legt snel verbanden, pakt dingen bij de kern aan en houdt ervan dingen te verbeteren.

Je bent echt een sparringpartner voor leidinggevenden en een klankbord van medewerkers. Het is een functie waarbij je niet alleen adviseert, maar ook doet.

Merk je op dat leidinggevenden moeilijke gesprekken uit de weg gaan? Dan coach je niet alleen die leidinggevenden, maar ontwikkel je misschien een training, organiseer je een info sessie, maak je formulieren of…..

Samen met jouw collega’s initieer je verbeteringen en zorg je ervoor dat er een HR beleid komt, wat bijdraagt aan het behalen van de doelstellingen (groei). Daarnaast ontwikkel je processen, trainingen en instrumenten die de leidinggevenden kunnen helpen om hun teams succesvol te laten zijn.

Het ene moment adviseer je over ontslag, arbeidsrecht of verzuim en het volgende moment neem je deel aan international projectoverleg, of stel je een contract op.

We zijn een klein team in de Benelux, dat betekent dat je zelf veel moet doen en dat er korte lijnen zijn. Je vindt het leuk om strategisch mee te denken en tegelijkertijd ook echt met de voeten in de modder te staan. Je zorgt dat wat je bedenkt, dat het er komt.

Wat mag je van Diversey – a Solenis company verwachten?
Wij vragen veel van jou, dus daar mag iets tegenover staan. Je kunt rekenen op een omgeving waar je als professional kunt doorgroeien. In je rol, maar ook als mens.

We zorgen goed voor elkaar en kijken hoe jij het beste kunt werken. Je krijgt daarom de mogelijkheid om deels thuis te werken en dus logischerwijs krijg je de beschikking over een laptop en telefoon.

Diversey heeft een zeer goede pensioenregeling, waarbij je zelf slechts een kleine eigen bijdrage betaalt. Naast een goed salaris tussen de € 4.500 en € 5.500 (obv 40 uur per week) ontvang je een eindejaarsuitkering van € 750,- en een bonusregeling van 10%.

Natuurlijk krijg je er een groep leuke collega’s bij (al zeggen we het zelf) en misschien nog wel het belangrijkste…. Je hebt veel autonomie en je kunt je kennis en ervaring inzetten om écht impact te maken.

Wat breng jij mee?
Nu verwacht je natuurlijk een enorme waslijst aan eisen. Daar doen we niet aan. Wij verwachten dat jij zelf prima kunt inschatten of je voldoende ervaring hebt om deze functie goed te kunnen vervullen. We zoeken iemand met een moderne kijk op HR en bestwat ervaring met gangbare hr onderwerpen. Verstand van arbeidsrecht en/of verzuim (WVP) is belangrijk.

De rol is op HBO+ niveau. Dit kan verkregen zijn door opleidingen en/of werkervaring. Is jouw achtergrond anders? Wij laten ons graag overtuigen. Bijvoorbeeld door starters met ambitie, of zij-instromers. Een belangrijke vereiste is dat je de Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed beheerst en dat je tech savvy bent.

What You Will Need

• Bachelors Degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in technical project management

• Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Tier 3 (T3) Security Clearance (Secret)

• Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications.

• Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.

• Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical and technical documents.
