Collective Training Exercise Planner
Key Role:
Assist the Army client with the development of plans and operations for an annual command post exercise (CPX) and prepare, coordinate, authenticate, review, and publish written operation orders, correspondence, and operations plans. Participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPT) with planners from supporting subordinate units and other organizations to develop Master Scenario Events Lists (MSEL) and scripting in support of the annual CPX. Work with the Military and mobilizing units to complete planning conference inputs and outputs. Participate in working groups, planning meetings, and in-progress reviews (IPR) for exercise planning. Prepare and update presentation material for senior leadership, middle management, or the action officer level. Communicate and coordinate with higher and lower, active, inactive contingency Mobilization Force Generation Installations (MFGI), state, and local organizations. Submit, receive, and distribute requests for information (RFI) to commands, agencies, or installation activities. Support the client in any manner necessary to accomplish the mission.
Basic Qualifications:
12+ years of experience with training Army Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support units
Experience with working at the Brigade-level or above MSEL scripting I-III, databases, scenarios, and injects
Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
Experience with military exercise planning
Knowledge of military training, doctrine, planning, and tactics, techniques, and procedures
Knowledge of Mission Command systems
Knowledge of the Army mobilization mission
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience as an Observer Coach and Trainer (OC/T), Simulation Operations Officer, Army Planner, Battle Staff, or Digital Master Gunner
Experience with working on division or higher headquarters staff
Experience with conducting mobilization operations
Experience with military exercise design and development
Knowledge of the Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL) automated system
Knowledge of Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS)
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,200.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
