Together with the relevant Deputy Finance Manager be responsible forcalculating and posting the monthly stock adjustment journals through theCompany and Trust ledgers. Responsibility for undertaking a number of monthly control code reconciliations (e.g. car park takings and JAC drug system to general ledger). This includes the analysis of outstanding balances within the balance sheet and the investigation and resolution of any discrepancies identified. Provide the necessary finance process support in the Trusts private healthcare facilities e.g. Grafton Suite Any other duties as commensurate with the grade of the post.

The Role

The Business Management Team (BMT) is a sub team within FPP and provides executive level support to Directors in FPP and PACT, including secretariat for both senior leadership teams and a comprehensive business support function.

This role will support the Business Management Director (BMD) to deliver strategy and planning support within both teams across FPP and PACT. It is responsible for the development of business plans as well as ensuring agreed plans are monitored and reported appropriately.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

• Manage the business management cycle, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of the annual timetable and agreeing deliverables with responsible owners.
• Support the planning process to capture and report strategic objectives for inclusion to the Corporate Business Plan.
• Responsible for maintaining the principle and corporate risk registers for FPP and PACT, and capture the key controls implemented by risk owners to ensure business objectives are met.

Introduction

The Health and Safety Business Partner role sits within the House of Commons Health & Safety Team within Governance Office. The Health and Safety team provides services to both the House of Commons and House of Lords and takes a holistic approach to managing the Estate using a Strategic Vision to ensure the Estate is safe.

The Health & Safety Team comprises a number of safety professionals who are collaborating closely with stakeholders across the estate to develop local arrangements aligned to ISO45001 and to maintain compliance to the corporate safety management system. They also provide assurance to senior stakeholders that the system is appropriate, effective, implemented and compliant with relevant health and safety legislation. Systems must be proportional and appropriate for all services provided including construction and maintenance operations.

The Role

The post holder will be one of a team of Health and Safety Business Partners within the House of Commons safety team and will report to the Senior Health & Safety Business Partner. This is predominantly a business support role and will assist in the development of effective arrangements across construction activities, including assurance. The role is essential given the number of projects and construction related maintenance undertaken simultaneously, the nature of work and the live environment in which work is carried out.

• Follow the principles of health and safety regulatory requirements and internal governance arrangements outlined in the Parliamentary Combined Health and Safety Policy and associated supplements. Job Purpose To provide high level, high quality executive support to enable the Chair and Chief Executive Officer to carry out their functions effectively. This function will provide a seamless and largely transparent service to make sure the Chair and CEO are always prepared and properly briefed for meetings and other events to support the achievement of the organisations priorities. The post-holder will support the wider Non-executive Director Team and will provide line management of the executive assistants for other chief officers and ensure oversight of the executive support. The post holder will be required to administer Executive meetings and ad hoc meetings, and to support the Board and its Committees as required. They will provide line management to the Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistants to all Chief Officers ensuring co-ordination of the teams workload to deliver the most efficient and effective service. The post holder will be expected to show a high degree of initiative and an ability to organise their day-to-day workload, prioritising and managing large volumes of work to high levels of accuracy. Duties and Responsibilities The post holder will: Be an ambassador for the organisation and will be expected at all times to present a professional, welcoming and helpful image to colleagues and other organisations including providers and the public. Provide an efficient, high quality and confidential administrative and business support function to the Chair and CEO by planning, prioritising and managing complex, conflicting and priority workloads and portfolios. Line manage the Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistants to all Chief Officers ensuring co-ordination of the teams workload to deliver the most efficient and effective service. Carrying out line management responsibilities to a high standard, such as regular 121s and personal development reviews, and providing professional support and development. Support the Chief of Staff to the CEO, the CEO, and the Chair to ensure that they are fully briefed prior to attendance at any meeting. Be aware of the environment within which the ICB operates to ensure the effective and appropriate use of the CEO and Chairs time through prioritising appointments, dealing with correspondence and dealing with senior staff from the NHS and other organisations. Maintain an awareness of ongoing issues to be able to tie up correspondence appropriately, chasing up action and giving position statements prior to meetings taking place. Manage the diary of the CEO and Chair coordinating and prioritising appointments, ensuring there is effective communication to all relevant parties and making all the necessary arrangements including travel. Ensure that all documentation is efficiently and effectively dealt with including operating a bring forward system; ensuring all necessary paperwork is available when required. Manage all incoming and outgoing mail on behalf of the CEO and Chair ensuring that any urgent or important business is brought to their attention in good time, and to re-distribute mail for action, prepare draft responses, follow up actions and make a record of any action taken. Ensure all communication is dealt with in a timely, efficient manner and deadlines are met, taking action where appropriate, in the absence of the senior members of the ICB. Produce correspondence, reports and other documents to a high standard and with due respect for confidentiality and corporate style. Accurately prepare presentations, letters and other correspondence using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the internet/intranet to the highest standard and within agreed deadlines using the ICBs corporate style. Accurately and in a timely manner, undertake administrative work for ICB Committees and other appropriate meetings as follows: o Attending meetings (some will be in-person and others virtual) to provide in-person administrative support o Using meeting software to administer meetings o Researching and producing agendas and working closely with the Corporate Governance Team on any required changes to the Schedules of Business o Meticulous collation of meeting papers in accordance with the Committee Service Guide. o Supporting the Chair and Executive Lead of the meeting to ensure meetings run smoothly, efficiently and in accordance with governance processes and procedures. o Producing appropriately detailed, professional and timely minutes. o Producing action schedules liaising with action owners to ensure actions are completed and updated accordingly. o Producing appropriately detailed Committee reports for the Board. o Liaison with/support senior colleagues in the preparation of other reports and circulation of paperwork to a high standard in a timely manner. o Working closely with the Corporate Governance team to deliver improvements in Board, Committee, and other key meeting administration across the executive administration team. Deal with queries from a wide range of organisations and individuals in a professional and sensitive manner always ensuring confidentiality. rarely, this may involve handling a caller who is upset or aggressive. Develop and maintain close collaboration and co-operation with a wide range of Executive offices across the ICBs stakeholder and provider organisations, and with NHS England and its regional and area representatives. Deal with sensitive and confidential issues, being able to deal with complex enquires and investigate a wide variety of issues proposing suitable solutions. Work unsupervised and demonstrate a high level of autonomy, acting as the first point of contact for a range of complex queries and exercising judgement and discretion as to the appropriate response, taking immediate action if necessary or seeking management support as required.

Exciting opportunity for an Oncology Nurse to join our Clinical homecare company on a temp basis, this role is field based and the most importantly you able to get back to the 1:1 patient care.

We are looking for Oncology Nurse to join our oncology division on a temporary basis, our oncology nurses are a little different, you will be field based, and supporting patients in their homes for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and patient training.

Working as part of a wider oncology team who look after 100,000 patients each year, you will be mainly working solo for most of your time. On average our Oncology Nurse see 1 – 3 patients in their homes each day, however these may be spread out across the region so you will need to be prepared for the driving to each location.

The great part of this role is theirs No hospitals and no wards to work in, you will be making a direct impact on our patients lives in their own home – That’s something a little special.

Oncology Nurse requirements:

- Experience nurse with a valid NMC PIN & either:

- Formal Oncology qualification SACT passport
- Inhouse Oncology training to administer SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) cannulation and venepuncture competency

- Display a high level of care and empathy to help our patients achieve their goals and regain their independence.
- well-organised and comfortable managing your own workload and itinerary
- Basic IT skills are required
- Extensive travelling will be required between patients, so a full UK driving license is essential. (Your working day includes the travel to and from your patients)
