Facility Planner, Mid
The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about using your client engagement skills to oversee projects that will create efficiency in the Civil Engineer industry? As a Facility Planner, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a project. We need an expert like you who is eager to use your proficient communication skills to manage complex projects that’ll support managing installations at a sustainable footprint level.
As a Facility Planner on our team, you’ll manage challenging projects for sensitive missions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Using facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you’ll oversee a team to develop creative solutions on mission-critical projects. In this role, you’ll closely impact the Air Force by facilitating projects that impact the ability of the Air Force and installations to develop footprint optimization projects. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. What You’ll Work On:
Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in the Air Force
Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for facility planning solutions
Perform complex activities as for the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization
Prepare and review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility
Advise clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, and individual space requirements
Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones

You Have:
Experience with facility planning and management
Knowledge of Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 32-1084 and Facility Requirements
Ability to use software applications, including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Access
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with data analysis platforms, including Tableau and Power BI
Experience with spatial data planning platforms, including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and REVIT
Experience with Computer-Aided Facilities Management applications and Facility Space Planning functions
Knowledge of DoD installations, missions, organizations, and facility types, including Category Codes
Knowledge of Air Force Instruction 32-1015, Integrated Installation Planning DAFI 32-9005, and Real Property Accountability and Reporting
Secret clearance
Master's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Geography
PMP or CFM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
