The Health & Safety Manager will report into Group Services and will offer support and advice to the operations teams around H&S legislation and all aspects of H&S. You will also be responsible for site safety programmes, accident investigations and performance improvements. This position is office based, however may require site visits.

Role Responsibilities:

• Review amendments to legislation and client standards to assess the relevance to the company, making appropriate recommendations

• Previous Construction H&S Experience

Finance Business Partner - Funeralcare

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us in Manchester to work with our Funeralcare Operations colleagues, including our Head of Support Operations, Regional Operation Managers, and Head of Transport. As a Finance Business Partner at Co-op, you'll work closely alongside our Finance and Operations teams and provide useful insights around the financial performance of our funeral homes and look for new opportunities where we can deliver value. We'll look to you to attend periodic business reviews; providing updates on our financial objectives and recommendations as to how we can improve the financial performance of our Funeralcare operations.

What you'll do

• Build and manage effective relationships with colleagues of all levels of seniority within our Funeralcare business area
• Work alongside our Funeralcare Operations teams, helping them to understand our financial numbers, and suggesting ways to improve performance at a funeral home, care centre, and regional level
• Provide actionable insights and reports to colleagues, including those at Director-level, to minimise risks and maximise opportunities
• Lead problem-solving support in a programme/project capacity, ensuring control and achievement of desired outcomes
• Lead the delivery of our financial budget, 4YP, and forecasts for Funeralcare and Central Operations
• Be responsible for our Operations payroll budget
• Carry-out financial modelling to assess proposed initiatives
• Support longer-term scenario planning and resolution of business problems with forward looking insight and business relevant knowledge

We're looking for a Business Process Partner to join the Optimisation Centre team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You'll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of 'co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day'.

As a Business Process Partner within data, you'll try and identify improvements in ways of managing data and optimise our current systems. This new role gives you the opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience within SAP whilst working within our Optimisation Centre supporting our Co-op.

What you'll do

• Lead on the business assurance of efficient and diligent data practices through programmes of change within Co-op
• Deliver efficient data design services, making sure we meet the operational requirements of SAP and other ERP systems data
• Optimise the maintenance and storage of data to support the lowest cost to serve
• Provide business assurance using analytics and information management to optimise large scale multi-year programmes of change within our data landscape

• Identify and mitigate risk profile in relation to data when scoping programmes

Responsibilities within this role include:

- Management and adherence to the Muller project management process and investment process for technical investment within the Muller Group (major capitals and minor in non manufacturing environments)

An independent Opticians based in Stockport, Greater Manchester are looking for a full time Optometrist to join the team.

This is an advanced practice that can offer a great deal of progression and development opportunities as they offer specialist services such as Dry Eye clinics, Emergency Eyecare and Post Cataracts. You will be working as the sole Optometrist so will take a clinical lead and help to ensure continues practice growth.

Optometrist - Role

• Deliver first class eye examinations, contact lens care and other eyecare services provided by the practice.
• 30-45 minute appointments

• Treat each patient as an individual and afford them the best eyecare they can expect to receive as an individual and unique person.
• Carry out the required examination in an enthusiastic and caring manner.
• Explain each step of the examination so that the patient understands what is happening.
• Discuss fully the various ways we have to correct their vision or other eye or eye health related issues.
• Hand over every patient within the consulting room where possible, to the relevant colleague to take them on the next stage of their journey. If this is a referral ensure this is done and the patient understands how this will be done.
