You will be given time out from your role to work on your apprenticeship. You must be committed to seeing through the apprenticeship and complete the qualification. This includes working a minimum of 30 hours per week to ensure you have enough time to complete the apprenticeship.

As a Business Analyst apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic team, learning and growing your skills across various exciting projects.
The role is designed to provide you with hands-on experience working on key DWP projects and services, while working towards a formal qualification in Business Analysis.
In this role, you will help:
- Solve problems and create solutions that benefit real people.
- Drive improvements in how services and processes work, especially for government and citizen interactions.
- Break down complex issues into actionable, easy-to-understand steps.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to a variety of tasks, including:
- Business Process Modelling
- Data and Gap Analysis
- Requirements Engineering and Management
- Stakeholder and Business Impact Assessments
- Agile ways of working and more.
You will build a portfolio showcasing your learning and practical applications of these skills, supported by your line manager, mentors, and the broader Business Analyst community.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the apprenticeship you are required to hold the following minimum eligibility criteria:
- Hold a valid passport/birth certificate or residence permit.
- Have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Must have lived in the UK and/or EEA for 3 years prior to apprenticeship start date or hold some form of exemption.
- Not be in full-time education or be undertaking another apprenticeship by the apprenticeship start date.
- You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
- You must hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade 4 or equivalent or be willing to undertake a functional skills assessment.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in either Blackpool and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. whichever is most convenient for you.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of £29,500
Pension: Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
