We are looking for a Recruitment Projects Officer who can join us on this journey.
This is an exciting opportunity for a HR or Recruitment professional, who has previous experience of providing professional advice on all aspects of recruitment and selection. You will be educated to CIPD level 5 and have previous and practical experience of being involved in undertaking and delivering projects of various sizes.
This is a great opportunity to take on a diverse and stimulating role for a council where everyone’s contribution is noticed. You will be working on key activities that support an internal recruitment service whilst identifying current and future needs that support delivery of the council’s People Strategy ensuring that the council attracts a diverse, highly skilled and high performing workforce.
You will be developing our recruitment branding, redesigning our corporate induction, undertaking a review of our internal and external recruitment pages, representing the council at careers fairs and providing advice and guidance to line managers on recruitment campaigns. The ideal candidate will also help to develop the recruitment strategy for the council and develop a range of tools to ensure effective recruitment and selection.
You will be used to high work volumes, possess excellent relationship building, problem solving and influencing skills and will have the ability to help us move away from a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
