We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our business development team. As the Business Development Director, you will play a crucial role in leading the marketing team to drive sales and establish strategic partnerships with existing client and ability to generate new sales in Singapore and around the region to meet annual sales target.
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
· To identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
· To develop and execute strategies to increase the sales growth of the New Business Unit (BU) to meet and exceed the sales target
· To build good business relationships with principals and customers through regular visits and contacts to develop new revenue streams
· To participate in contract and price negotiations with customers
· An acute sense of hunting and developing new opportunities to expand business in areas / account responsibilities.
· Continuous improvement in self-research, learning and readiness on the new market, new product, solutions etc
· A player-coach role, leading and managing the marketing team at the same time, contribute to both individual and team sales target
· Comply with monthly reporting via Sales-Force with potential leads and opportunities
· Coordinate and participate in industry trade show and exhibition etc
· Willing to travel within short notice.

Key requirements:
· Degree in business management/ Marketing, MBA is preferred
· At least 9 years of regional and domestic industry and shipyard sales experience related to marine valves, high pressure hoses, fittings, safety equipment, etc with good proven sales record.
· Able to work independently and strong in collaboration
· Excellent communication skills in bilingual
· Strong business acumen with the ability to convert potential leads into business
· Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
· A strategic and creative mind
· Possess the ability to work with cross-functional teams
· A solid understanding of business and marketing principles
· Valid class 3 license and process own vehicle
