This school is a centre of excellence in alternative provision offering academic and vocational qualifications to students from within the local authority, alongside a short stay provision to provide supportive interventions for identified mainstream students, and an outreach team providing targeted support to secondary students within mainstream schools.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

- Management of the strategy and operation of business functions within the school, including ICT

- Financial Management, including budget and procurement

- Ensuring maintenance of Health and Safety, facilities management

- Human resources management

- General management of team and administration

Experience required:

• Experience of managing a budget of £3.5million +
• Experience of proactively commissioning and developing partnerships with external providers of services
• Experience of negotiating and agreeing contracts
• Experience working in a school or college setting at a management level
• Experience of working with local authorities, parents, professionals and other stakeholders within an educational setting
• Experience of effectively leading and managing people

This is a full time, 52 week permanent role with the opportunity to work from home during the holidays.

About The Role
You will be managing a portfolio of hazards, enquiries and subsidence projects in Scotland as part of a team providing expert advice and creative solutions to manage public safety and environmental issues associated with coal mining.
The Coal Authority’s Public Safety and Subsidence Team manage over 1000 new projects every year relating to the historic liabilities of the Coal Mining industry throughout the UK.
You will ensure that all projects and fieldworks are economically, efficiently and effectively managed and all statutory obligations are discharged, working with an internal project team and external contractors.
This role is located in the central belt of Scotland and we would require someone who lives in this area.
Due to the locations of our sites a full driving license is essential and some flexibility to travel/work nationally at times.

Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Regional Lens Account Manager for a leading manufacturer of Ophthalmic Lenses. The purpose of this role is to build strong business relationships with customers in the independent optical market across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

The Regional Lens Account Manager will successfully grow new and existing accounts, to ensure the company's ambitious growth strategies are achieved. The individual will identify commercial opportunities to create value for accounts, and successfully manage the delivery and execution of these opportunities.

Regional Lens Account Manager - Role

• Manage all day-to-day aspects of customer accounts to achieve revenue growth and achieve business KPIs, goals and strategy.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of the territory, and customer accounts, identifying opportunities for improvements.
• Undertake data analysis of the commercial opportunities that are available to create value for customers and create innovation options to address these.
• Deliver insights to the customer to support their continued success
• Be the key point of contact for customer(s)

Regional Lens Account Manager - Requirements

• Optical B-2-B sales experience or Dispensing Optician
• Working on own initiative to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Ability to effectively analyse and interpret data
