Overview
The Dash Group, based in Redruth, provides a diverse range of services to businesses and consumers. Dash Logistic Services offers distribution, fulfilment, vehicle hire, commercial vehicle sales and self-storage throughout the South West and beyond, Dash Convenience Stores serve local communities in Cornwall and DWN supplies maps and other fast moving goods to retailers and consumers across the UK.
We are now looking to recruit a New Business Executive to help us develop and drive new B2B sales in our successful vehicle rental business. The transition to electric vehicles (EV) from internal combustion engines (ICE), presents a great opportunity to work with both new and existing customers to ensure they have sustainable vehicle solutions for their business now and in the future. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in winning new business both in person and over the phone.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Prospect and contact new and existing customers with a view to selling our extensive range of EV and ICE rental vehicle solutions for long and short-term business
• Create new sales and business opportunities via online prospecting, outreach, and cold calling
• Attend local networking events to build new leads and present the benefits of vehicle rental and encourage the transition to EV
• Chase and follow up on leads, handle new business enquiries, and build strong relationships with the local business community
• Update and maintain a CRM with information and pipeline with reporting to management on a regular basis
• Act as a first point of contact for prospective clients, presenting a professional image in all communications and meetings
• Build an excellent personal understanding of EV and the infrastructure required
• Work with, and offer advice to customers as they transition from ICE to EV
• Monitor competitors and feedback information to help the business with market/pricing decisions
Personal Specification
• Extensive previous experience in prospecting and selling through a variety of methods
• Great sales planning and time management
• An ability to quickly understand customer problems/challenges and relate them to solutions you can provide
• The ability and discipline required to find and manage your own sales opportunities
• The ability to generate a solid pipeline of properly qualified prospects
• The ability to negotiate and close deals
• Experience in face to face and telephone sales
• Experience with commercial vehicles preferred, or related automotive background
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A full driving licence held for at least 2 years valid in the UK

Based: Redruth Site (TR15 3RQ)
Hours of Work: This is a full time salaried position
Salary: Basic £25,000 with competitive performance based commission package OTE £40k+
Holiday Entitlement: 28 Days per year (including Bank Holidays) pro rata.
