As a Senior Advisor for Business Operations, your typical work assignments may include:

• Providing expert advice, consultation, and assistance to the Administrator on high priority agency-wide policy matters relating to business operations in the areas of budget, contracts, facilities, resource management/appropriations, human resources, congress, public affairs, and information technology.
• Assessing the effectiveness of program and policy oversight, taking corrective action ensuring consistency with the DEA's goals, objectives and policies.
• Evaluating current policies and programs, recommending appropriate actions, and providing continuous review, updates, and analysis of policies, and standard operating procedures related to the business operations of DEA.
• Synthesize a large amount of data and information to effectively present this information to the Administrator for review.
• Representing the DEA and the Administrator in internal and interagency meetings related to business operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 8+yrs
• Must have: Functional Consultant, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (Strong), SAP Manufacturing Execution System (MES) (Expert), SAP PP (Strong)
• Extensive experience in SAP DM, MES, MII, PCo, and DCS with strong understanding of processes and configuration, hands-on experience with MES systems and their integration with ERP, and knowledge of DCS and Plant Connectivity (PCo) along with expertise in end-to-end testing for upgrades and SAP Cloud releases is essential.
• Responsibilities include analysing client needs and functional requirements, define technologies and frameworks for solutions, and implement design methodologies and tools and coordinate application development requirements and schedules, lead/support UAT and production rollouts, and create and validate WBS and effort estimates.
• The consultant will address issues promptly, provide constructive feedback, set clear team expectations, troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs, propose and justify solutions during code/design reviews, and conduct POCs to ensure design/technologies meet requirements.
• Good understanding of design patterns, Concurrent design and multithreading.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in different disparate technologies and environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding the client’s business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client’s requirements
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken
