Position Purpose:
To provide forecasting solutions by using the analytical, marketing, and sales data of a company for several countries to effectively estimate future product demands, including planning inventory flow & analyzing statistical data to support the team in achieving sales goals.
Description of Duties:
- To prepare effective forecast models based on HQ guidelines and demand patterns
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management & related teams.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Provide consistent analysis of the forecast accuracy and conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Challenge the forecast of marketing and sales on launch and promotion
- Managing forecast, purchase order, supply from the principal, inventory (on-hand and SLOB analysis), and fulfillment to the customer.
- Liaise with Regional Luxasia team and principal.
Requirement: (Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, business administration, or related field
- At least 5-7 years experience in Demand and Supply Planning, Inventory Management, future master, and or SAP.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills, highly committed & Excellent communication
- IT literate with knowledge of warehouse software packages (SAP preferred), Future Master and MS Office proficiency
- Excellent English communication skills
- Solid experience in implementing processes, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance
