An exciting, substantive opportunity for a Business Support Assistant (Band 4) has arisen in the South West Nursing Directorate to support theContinuing HealthcareTeam.
We are seeking someone with excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills, to work as part of a friendly & dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Continuing Healthcare Independent Reviewarea in in the NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) team.
Any Care leavers or supporter with strong administrative skills will be considered.
The post holder will provide administrative services; including for example, supporting scheduling Independent Review Panels (IRPs), the preparation of agendas and minutes, copying files for the purpose of IRPs and taking appropriate follow-up action as required.
Supporting the team with the management of CHC case files, gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary.
Act as first point of contact to area of work for a wide range of stakeholders.
Communicate and engage with external and internal CHC stakeholders which may require negotiation skills and understanding of the needs/requirements and of other organisations, senior professionals and individuals. Updating and maintaining the single NHS CHC database and/or spreadsheets relevant to work area, and manage meeting arrangements
Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team
Manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery as well as the appropriate circulation of relevant publications and communications.
Supplying the relevant information required for financial management, supporting the head of department and teams by checking and sending invoices for payment
