Cheshire West and Chester Council are looking to recruit 2 full time Business Support Assistants – SEN Communications School and Family Liaison as part of the Special Educational Needs Team.
We are looking for candidates with experienced in customer service to help and support families to navigate through the SEND system.
The role requires a confident individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will provide communication support by answering a frontline telephone number.
You must be able to convey information to people clearly and simply, adapt yourself to new and different situations with each call, compromise to reach agreement, and at times have difficult conversations with ease. Proficient use of a wide range of software packages such as Microsoft Teams and Outlook is essential.
Knowledge of current SEN matters and legalisation would be advantageous.
