About the Job

As National Planning Manager you will be responsible for arranging the delivery of the customer’s product on time and in full
using the most cost-effective means and best use of available resources, whilst complying with Transport Legislation and Health &
Safety. You will ensure maximisation of the utilisation of the Fleet through efficient planning of deliveries and collections as
well as maximised utilisation of Unipart drivers in line with current driver’s hours and WTD legislation. You will also provide
analytical insight into the performance of the fleet based on the planning and execution and develop initiatives in parallel.

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:

* Plan all customer deliveries utilising the software available at site to ensure delivery windows are met.
* Planning daily workload for a fleet nationally
* Implement new operating processes
* Develop back haul lanes and support in the planning of supplier collections across the fleet.
* Source appropriate and cost effective sub-contractors to ensure any additional volume is serviced in line with the contractual

We are recruiting for a Business Services Coordinator to join our fantastic team on an initial 6 months basis.

As part of this role you will be responsible for ;

Working alongside Business Services Team colleagues to provide a consistent cross business service around a range of activities to the whole of MIRA
Be the nominated Business Services first point of contact for a section of MIRA
Routing task requests to the correct team, whether that be the Business Services Team, Project Management Office, Sales Front Office, Customer Services, Procurement or other central function
Identify opportunities for increasing consistency, efficiency and reducing duplication and waste, highlighting them to the Business Services Team leader

Experience
Experience directly working with customers and internal departments with varying levels and different needs/styles.
Extensive experience in office tools and data base management (such as word, excel, powerpoint and CRM systems)
Experience providing detailed quality reports and documentation that include numerical data.
Skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively (in a busy working environment), working towards deliverables
Strong administration background
Excellent people skills
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications

English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
Demonstrable numerical proficiency
Preferred Qualifications

Administrative or clerical qualification
