We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled Business Analyst to join our Enabling Services Projects and Programmes Team. As a critical member of this team, you will play a key role in driving complex and large-scale change initiatives, with a specific focus on enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of our shared services for our users.

Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Assist in gathering accurate information, identifying problems and opportunities, proposing solutions, and delivering high-quality results.
- Conduct insightful analysis and communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Ensure recommendations align with strategic business objectives.
- Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to analyse information needs and functional requirements.
- Manage stakeholders effectively and advocate for change when necessary.
- Seek guidance from subject matter experts for complex issues.
- Identify and implement effective change management methods, measuring and evaluating outcomes.
- Assist teams in managing outcomes, prioritising work, and adhering to project scopes.
- Provide training and support for individuals impacted by new systems and processes.
- Lead workshops to design new processes and address process-related issues.
- Analyse and structure large amounts of information for process redesign.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- A recognised qualification in Business Analytics, preferably certified through BCS, would be desirable.
- Proven experience in shared service (Payroll, HR, Finance, Procurement, Fleet and Workforce Management). In particular, payroll projects or experience within a payroll environment is desirable.
- Experience of business analysis, data analysis, change management, Operational Excellence or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in a service environment.
- Experience of successfully delivering workshops, interviews, process, and feedback sessions.
- Ability to communicate across a diverse community of stakeholders with good networking and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with changing prioritises and with multiple projects.
- Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Excellent research and analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of relevant business management/business analysis principles.
- Ability to turn complex concepts into simple language.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools and other relevant software packages, particularly Excel.
- Strong willingness to learn.
