Do you have a Housing or ICT background and are you looking for an opportunity to work proactively in a customer focused environment? As a Housing Business Analyst you will be responsible for the operation of a number of key ICT systems within the Housing Service. This includes the provision of system support for current ICT systems and involvement in projects to implement new ICT systems and functionality to bring efficiencies to Housing’s business.

The Housing Business Support Team is responsible for the delivery of Housing ICT projects, system implementations and new functionality to support the Council’s ICT strategy and corporate priorities. The successful candidate will not only play a lead role in delivering ICT projects but also operate a systems helpdesk for both internal and external users, carry out system maintenance and upgrades, assist with the mapping of business processes and their translation into system configuration, writing system reports and working closely with other teams across the Council.

This role is being offered as a Fixed Term Contract for a period of 18 months and will involve working on-site 5 days a week at the main reception desk at Goodman House, Harlow providing face to face customer service. The Role:

This role will involve working on-site at the main reception desk at Goodman House, Harlow providing face to face customer service.

This role involves working as part of a wider business support team to deliver effective, routine administrative support within a business centre; learning and developing an understanding of existing processes and systems and develop knowledge of all functions across ECC.

As a Business Support Assistant, you may also provide general administrative support to ECC, dealing with day to day work instructed from the Business Centre Manager or others. Great customer service skills are required as this is a customer facing role. Accurate and efficient data entry onto ECC systems is also required, to ensure that all customer service requests are met within a specified time frame and are in line with data protection policies.

ECC provide a minute taking service as requested in some areas, however full training would be provided if requested to support this.

Route Planner / Supervisor

This is a to optimise route planning, enable efficient stock transfer, and support daily operations within the transport department, aiming to enhance delivery efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and support in the department's day-to-day running, with the opportunity to progress.
