Business Development Executive | Huddersfield, West Yorkshire | Full Time - 9am to 5pm | £24,000-£25,000 plus bonus and a company car
Our client is an independent, personal insurance company, offering friendly service at competitive prices from their offices in Huddersfield, Hebden Bridge and Sheffield.
In this role, you will support the Commercial Lines Insurance Team to manage their existing client base, actively canvassing the local business community, advising and maximising any upsell opportunities. After training you will develop into dealing with your own clients including retaining renewal business, adjustments and new quotations.

What will your role look like?
• Adherence to the requirement laid out by the FCA in terms of compliance and customer risk
• Working with 3rd party Insurers and Underwriters
• Translate all data accurately and timely into the CRM system
• Maintaining a healthy/current pipeline with frequent customer follow-ups
• Offering an excellent customer experience throughout the process
• Provide good customer service and advice on products for customers identifying the opportunity for cross-selling and up-selling activities
• Increasing customer base by building long-lasting customer relationships
